Local culinary tradition

We take the greatest care over our excellent cuisine which pays particular attention both to the typical ingredients of local traditions and today’s requirements for light, healthy eating. Much appreciated is the use of prime quality local products such as the Garda extra-virgin olive oil, the mushrooms and truffles of Monte Baldo, the Vialone Nano Rice or the Marrone di San Zeno di Montagna chestnuts, recently awarded the DOP (Protected Origin) European Certification.

Every day our chefs will create ever different, refined, tasty menus accompanied by a generous salad bar with fresh vegetables, raw and cooked, interesting salads and delicious starters and snacks. In the morning there’s a large buffet breakfast to start the day in the best possible way with homemade biscuits and cakes, local hams and cheeses, a choice of fresh bread, yoghurt and cereals, fruit, eggs, bacon and more…come and see for yourself!

The choice available from our wine list is just as wide with a great selection of the best Italian wines and, naturally, special attention is given to quality local wines such as Lugana, Soave, Valpolicella and our Top Wine, the “Amarone della Valpolicella”, which has become a star among international wine connoisseurs. Here is a sneak preview of what’s available to sample: Dal Forno – Quintarelli – Sassicaia – Ornellaia – Biondi Santi – Maculan Antinori – Felluga livio – Allegrini – Prunotto – Nino Negri – Ca’ del Bosco – La Massa. Overall almost 50 labels awarded the 3 Glasses rating by the Gambero Rosso and Slow Food organisations, and more than 50 different Valpolicella and Amarone labels.
